Anchovies Burger

This original recipe allows you to taste a great classic of Sicilian cuisine in a modern way: the anchovies. Fillets of Mediterranean anchovies are reduced to create a delicate pulp that is mixed with top quality ingredients, such as breadcrumbs of Sicilian durum wheat semolina, Provola Dei Nebrodi, Ragusano D.O.P. cheeses and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, that give the product unmistakable taste and aroma.
The product is immediately cut down at -40°C, to preserve all the freshness and goodness of the ingredients.

Ingredients

ANCHOVIES (*), bread crumbs of Sicilian durum wheat semolina with yeast base (durum wheat semolina, water, yeast base, salt, yeast), smoked braids cheese with aromatic woods (pasteurized MILK, salt, rennet), tomato pulp (tomato pulp, tomato juice, salt) sultanas (dried grapes, vegetable oil), extra virgin olive oil, Provola dei Nebrodi spun cheese (MILK, salt, rennet), Ragusano D.O.P spun cheese ( raw cow’s MILK, salt, rennet), bread crumbs (WHEAT semolina, water, salt, yeast), parsley, salt, black pepper. May contain traces of: molluscs, crustaceans, nuts, soya, sesame, fish bones.

Cooking

To better enjoy the product, it is recommended to let the product thaw in the fridge for at least 12 hours, alternatively you can thaw the product in the microwave (defrost function). Bake it in a ventilated oven preheated to 180°C for about 10 -12 minutes or in a microwave oven with crisp function for about 6-7 minutes. (Refer to the manual of the microwave oven for cooking suggestions).

Conservation

The product is frozen. Please, store it at a temperature not exceeding -18°C. Properly preserved, it has a duration of 12 months starting from the date of production. It must be preferably consumed by the date indicated on the package. Once thawed, the product must be consumed within 24 hours. Do not freeze again.
